who we are
The National Malaria Elimination Centre, located on Chainama Hospital College grounds in Lusaka, assumed responsibility for the design, implementation, and monitoring of Zambia malaria activities in 1997. Back then we were a malaria control centre. Significant and strategic investment, backed by steadfast political commitment, has now positioned our country to seriously pursue malaria elimination. Our zambition is possible thanks to strong partnerships and guidance from an evidence-based and costed five-year national elimination strategy.
A malaria-free Zambia.
To provide equitable access to cost-effective, high-quality services as close to the family as possible.
